- : I hope I can lay my hands on the Ada ISO documents. Getting a hold of
- : a library copy of the 83 will probably be easier; ISO documents are
- : expensive and hence libraries are accordintly somewhat selective in
- : their purchase orders. It's not likely that I can easily find the 1995
- : standard.
-
- Not in the case of Ada. You can find these ISO standards freely
- (thanks to DoD) on internet on a bunch of ftp sites. Of course you can
- also buy them. BTW there's also free hypertexts version of most of Ada
- documents.
-
- If you are really willing to have a look at Ada 95, start at
-
- http://lglwww.epfl.ch/Ada
-
- This site is known as "Home of the Brave Ada Programmer" (HBAP) and
- is maintained by Magnus Kempe. A lot of Ada fans have contributed to
- it (tutorials, articles, specialized pages ...).
-
- For the standards :
-
- http://sw-eng.falls-church.va.us/AdaIC/standards/Welcome.html
-
- : Are there cheaper, more secular ;), publications which carry much of the body
- : of the Ada standards?
-
- Cheaper implies free here ;-)
